Enter the email address you used when you registered and we will send you a message with a one-time reset link. The link is valid for a limited time and can only be used once, so nobody can reuse an old email to take over your account. After you choose a new password you can sign in immediately and continue where you left off — your companies, invoices, journal entries and reports are all unchanged.
If the message does not arrive within a few minutes, check the spam or junk folder and make sure you typed the same address you registered with. Password reset emails are sent automatically and do not require any action from our team, so the process works at any hour, including weekends and holidays.
Once you are back in, we recommend choosing a password of at least twelve characters that combines upper- and lowercase letters, numbers and symbols, and that you do not reuse on other services. From the security settings page you can also enable two-factor authentication or register a passkey, which protects your books even if a password ever leaks.
MICHITAI Accounting stores financial data for your business — invoices, expenses, journal entries and tax estimates — so we treat account recovery as a security-sensitive operation. We will never ask for your password by email or phone, and the reset link is the only supported way to regain access. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact our support team and we will help you review recent activity in the audit log and close active sessions on other devices.
